3 days in Thy

Here you get an impressive collection of the most enchanting and unique hiking trails in National Park Thy and the rest of the fantastic Thy. Together, they provide an incredible hiking experience.

You can hike among the ancient mounds in the diverse landscape around the Limfjord in one of the Limfjord's most scenic and historically interesting areas.

In Thy National Park you can hike along the steep coastal cliffs, through heather carpets on the beautiful dunes, and follow winding paths up, down and around the dunes. You can also climb "mountains" and enjoy one magnificent and breathtaking view after another.

In the northern part of Thy, you can meet nature and birdlife at the Bulbjerg bird cliffs and on the boardwalks at Vejlerne. You also pass the impressive wind turbines at Østerild Testcenter.

Along the way, you will also have the opportunity for several exciting experiences at, among others, Doverodde Købmandsgård, Ask the Troll, Lodbjerg Lighthouse, Stenbjerg Landingplads, the National Park Centre, Cold Hawaii in Klitmøller, the Wildlife Reserve and the Bunker Museum in Hanstholm.

The total hike consists of 13 carefully selected hiking routes with a total distance of up to 45 km. In addition, there are four bonus routes that add another 14.8 km to your hike if you have the energy and the good legs for it.
