Fosdalen and Langdalen constitute an enchanting hiking area, where scenic deep valleys, Stone Age slopes, and impressive ancient fields create a unique and inspiring hiking adventure.

Explore the beautiful Fosdal, traverse along Lien's ridge, and delve into the depths of Langdalen.

Treat yourself to the experience of ascending Bavnehøj, the highest point in Jammerbugten, and enjoy the impressive panoramic views of the area.

You can also choose to hike in one of Denmark's most well-preserved Iron Age landscapes with the characteristic field structure from the Iron Age, featuring squares divided by low boundary banks.

Revel in a scenic hiking route through one of the central areas of the plantations, indulging in beautiful views of Lilledalen's heaths on both sides. Here, you will also come across numerous burial mounds, revealing the rich history of the area.

For an extra experience in the area, visit one of Jutland's largest glacial erratic boulders and "heal" yourself at a sacred spring.

In the area, you can select hikes ranging from 2.5 km up to 16 km. (+ a bonus trail of 5.5 km if you have strong legs).
