Kilen - West Jutland (Struer)
The long hiking trail at Kilen northwest of Struer is challenging with steep and uneven paths that lead through narrow footpaths where horses, goats and sheep graze, and offers a hilly landscape with terraces and small landslides.
In Hornet Plantation you are led through a varied forest area with hilly moraines to the north and open heath to the south, with Skramsdale as a highlight where five deep erosion valleys meet.
Resenborg Plantage offers a unique experience with its steep terrain and many deciduous trees, more reminiscent of an East Jutland mixed forest, and offers a changing landscape and a diversity of plants and trees.
A stroll through Struer's city center offers charming streets and squares, where local shops and cafes create a cozy atmosphere. At the harbor, you can immerse yourself in the maritime life with boats and yachts, adding an extra dimension to your experience.

This hiking area offers a long hiking route that stretches over 14.4 kilometers. In addition, there are three bonus trails totaling 5,8 kilometers for the adventurous hikers with strong legs.
