Nature Park Tolne - Hjørring

Tolne Bakker, the heart of Nature Park Tolne, has hiking trails through a hilly Ice Age landscape with over 200-year-old beech trees. Here you can experience rich biodiversity and the dramatic contrasts between hills and flat terrain to the north.

In the northern part of Nature Park Tolne, the paths take you past cultural and historical gems such as Eskjær Estate and the burial mounds at Mosbjerg Museum. Explore the area's rich history while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

The southern part of the park offers large grasslands and heaths, including the protected Katsig Bakker. The hiking trails here offer the opportunity to see rare plants and insects in a unique landscape.

In the hiking area, you can explore six trails that stretch for a total of 16.3 km, as well as two bonus trails totaling 5,2 km for those with very good physical condition.
