Thy National Park stretches up to a 12 kilometer wide belt along the west coast of Jutland from Agger Tange to Hanstholm. It is an unspoiled natural area of ​​a total of 244 km2.

Denmark's first national park is thus four times larger than Copenhagen, and the closest we here at home come to Norway's vast wilderness.
