Stubbergård Sø (lake) winds through wild, protected landscapes, with trails framed by rich birdlife, tunnel-valley formations and dead-ice hollows—perfect for peaceful hiking with scenic views.
To the south, the ruins of Stubbergård Monastery stand as a quiet cultural landmark—offering a reflective stop amid nature’s embrace.

Mosestien, Stampestrømmen & Karup Å

Hjerl Hede Open-Air Museum provides historical insights with buildings, mills, and workshops from the 1600s–1900s, brought to life by volunteers in period costume.
