At Mols you will find a wide range of enchanting shelters that give you the opportunity to enjoy an overnight stay in the middle of the beautiful nature.
Whether you prefer to be close to the water on the coasts or in the middle of nature inland, there are shelters for every taste.
Some shelters can be reserved in advance, while others operate on a first-come, first-served basis. In certain cases, there will be a small payment to use the shelter.

Karpenhøj Nature Center - The west-facing shelter
The west-facing shelter is beautifully situated with a view over Begtrup vig and Trambermosen. It is one of several shelter sites located in different places at Karpenhøj Nature Center.
The shelter has room for 6 people.
There is a small fire pit with a grill grate, fire bowl, and 2 benches by the shelter. There is access to a toilet and water at the nature center. Firewood and a wilderness bath can be purchased.
The shelter must bebooked and you pay a small amount for the night.

Karpenhøj Nature Center - The large shelter square
The shelters on the large shelter site are pleasantly located surrounded by beautiful trees. It is one of several shelter sites located in different places at Karpenhøj Nature Center.
Here there are 4 shelters with each place for 4-6 people.
There is also a large fire pit with grill grate and several benches. There is access to toilets and water at the nature centre. Firewood and wilderness bath can be purchased additionally.
The shelters must bebooked and you pay a small amount for the night.

Karpenhøj Nature Center - Forest Shelter
The shelter is idyllically located in the climbing forest. Here you can wake up quietly with a view to Ebeltoft Bay and birdsong in the treetops. It is one of several shelter sites located in different places at Karpenhøj Nature Center.
The forest shelter has room for 4 people.
At the shelter there is a small fire pit and grill grate. There is access to toilets and water at the nature centre. Firewood and wilderness bath can be purchased additionally.
The shelter must be booked and you pay a small amount for the night.

The concrete shelter - Skødshoved Harbour
Beautifully located close to the beach at Skødshoved Harbor is this shelter, which looks like a clam. The shelter is a very special construction, made of thin double-curved concrete elements with a hardwood base.
The shelter has room for 4-6 people.
At the shelter there is a small fire pit with a grill grate and a table/bench set. It is possible to use the toilet and fill up with water in the harbor building.
Use of the shelter does not require booking - "first come, first served" applies.

Slettervang shelters
The shelter site on southern Helgenæs is located in a large natural area, which is fenced off from the surrounding paddock, which is grazed by cattle.
On the site there are four shelters with space for 6-8 people in each.
There is also a composting toilet, water tap and a table/bench set.
3 of the shelters must be booked - shelter 1, shelter 2 and shelter 3. For the last shelter, first come, first served applies.

Slatterhage shelter
The shelter site at Sletterhage consists of an old cement pipe that has historically been used for the extraction of ral. It lies right down to the water's edge, from which it is often possible to see porpoises and seals.
In the shelter is a cement block that 2 people can sleep on.
There is also a wood-burning stove and a small fireplace. There is a toilet with water in the parking lot by the lighthouse not far away, which is open during the summer.
Use of the shelter does not require booking - first come, first served.

Ahl Hage shelters
At the shelter site, two shelters have been set up a little inside the oak thicket right by Ahl Strand.
The two shelters each have room for 3-5 people.
There is a small fire pit with a grill grate and a table/bench set on the site. Toilets with water are available in the nearby car park. They are open during the summer.
Use of the shelters does not require booking and they are free to use.

The MTB track in Sønderplantage shelter
The shelter site is located at the parking lot at the start of the MTB trail in Sønderplantage.
On the site, there is a shelter with space for 4-6 people.
There is also a bonfire cabin. In addition, there is drinking water, a fire pit and a table/bench set. There is no toilet.
The shelters do not need to be booked and are free to use.

Boeslum Strand shelter
At Boeslund Strand, on the edge of an open area, a shelter has been set up approx. 200 m from the coast.
The shelter has room for 3-4 people.
There is a fire pit and table/bench set on the site. There is a public toilet with water nearby, which is open during the summer.
Use of the shelter does not require booking and is free to use.

Stubbe Lake shelters
The shelter site is beautifully located by a meadow east of Stubbe Sø.
On the site there are two shelters with space for approx. 5-6 people each.
There is a composting toilet at the sheltersite, but no drinking water nearby. It is possible to light a fire at the site, you must bring your own firewood. Remember to take your waste with you when you leave the site.
There can be many insects at times, as the site is close to the damp areas at Stubbe Sø.
One shelter can be reserved - the other cannot. The latter is used on a first-come, first-served basis.

Gravlev stien shelters
By Gravlev town - where the Nature Trail ends, this nice little shelter site is located on the edge of an open area.
Here there are two good large shelters with space for 5-6 animals in each.
There is a fire pit with grill grate and firewood can be bought. There is also a primitive toilet and a water tap.
The shelters cannot be booked. Here, "first come, first served" applies.

Brønhøj Forest shelters 1
The shelter is located on a sunny, sheltered spot in Brønhøj Forest, which is located in Hyllested Bjerge between Gravlev and Hyllested close to Ree Park.
It has room for 6-7 people.
At the shelter, there is a small fire pit with a grill grate as well as a table and seating.
In the area, there is also a fire hut with a fire pit and grilling equipment both inside and outside, a stone/clay oven, and a toilet. Water is provided freely in a large container upon booking, and birch firewood can be purchased.
The shelter must be booked . A small amount is paid per person.

Brønhøj Forest shelters 2
The shelter area is located in a small spot surrounded by trees in Brønhøj Forest, which is in Hyllested Bjerge between Gravlev and Hyllested, near Ree Park.
There is a primitive shelter and a newer one, with a total capacity for 7-9 people.
By the shelters, there is a small fire pit with a grill grate, as well as a table and seating.
In the area, there is also a fire hut with a fire pit and grilling equipment both inside and outside, a stone/clay oven, and a toilet. Water is provided freely in a large container upon booking, and birch firewood can be purchased.
The shelters must be booked . A small amount is paid per person.
