Mols Bjerge National Park - Kalø

Kalø is a beautiful area with an impressive medieval castle ruin by Kalø Bay. Here, you’ll find peace in nature and stunning views over the water – perfect for a relaxing day trip for both families and nature enthusiasts.

The natural landscape is diverse, with forests, coastlines, and green meadows. You can experience rich wildlife, and you might be lucky enough to spot deer or birds while enjoying the surroundings.

Kalø is ideal for hiking. Take a walk along the trail to Kalø Castle Ruins or explore the longer routes in Mols Bjerge National Park. Each trail combines beautiful nature with fascinating history, making the hikes truly memorable.

The nature area includes five selected trails with a total length of up to 17.3 km, as well as a bonus trail of 4.5 km if you feel energetic and up for a challenge.
