2 days in Jammerbugt

In this selection of the spectacular and unique walking routes in Jammerbugt, you can explore the unique nature that stretches around the entire Jammerbugt.

Your hiking adventure will take you through the protected Hingelbjerge with Han Herred's highest point, Nordbjerg, towering 83 meters above sea level. Here you can experience numerous burial mounds and a panoramic view of both Jammerbugt and Limfjorden.

Fosdalen and Langdalen constitute an enchanting hiking area, where scenic deep valleys and Stone Age slopes create a unique and inspiring hiking adventure. Explore the beautiful Fosdal, move along the upper edge of Lien and dive into the depths of Langdalen.

Take charming walks through the marshes on narrow grass-covered paths that take you through the area with dr feet. This provides a perfect way to explore the varied terrain and unique nature that the marshes have to offer.

Also visit one of Denmark's two preserved lime kilns and explore an exciting exhibition about the lime quarry. Discover the most beautiful spot in Denmark with the only preserved heather mill and Thorupstrand with the charming fishing cutters.

The total walk includes eight selected routes with a total distance of up to 33.2 km, as well as two bonus routes that add another 10.5 km to your trip if you're feeling fit and have good legs.
