Along the lakeshore, one walks through the reeds and enjoys the peaceful silence between the water surfaces. The area offers a tranquil atmosphere and scenic impressions, and at the shelter area, there is an opportunity to take a break before continuing the journey back.
Experience a mosaic landscape of marshes, small lakes, and open meadows, where birdlife is rich and varied. Several benches along the route provide opportunities to rest and enjoy views of the ever-changing landscape shaped by natural forces.
Follow grassy trails and gravel roads through open fields, hills, and depressions marked by the traces of the Ice Age. Here, railway tracks cross, and the landscape clearly shows the influence of both nature and agriculture, creating a varied hiking experience.
The area offers cultural and historical highlights such as Hygum Hill, with its impressive views over the landscape featuring ancient burial mounds. Close to nature and full of small surprises, these trails are just around the corner.
In the hiking area, you can explore three trails totaling up to 14.9 km, plus a bonus trail of 6.8 km for those with good fitness.
