Jegindø & Thyholm - West Jutland (Struer)

The long hiking trail on Jegindø offers a picturesque route along the Limfjord, with beautiful coastal landscapes and a rich bird life. The path passes through a varied landscape, including sandy beaches and grasslands, creating a versatile experience for walkers.

At Tambohus you follow old field roads and post tracks that open up to the hilly view of the Tambo Hills and finish with a charming walk through the idyllic Tambohus.

In the marsh, you pass through varied terrain with boardwalks through reed forests and can enjoy breathtaking views from the hilltop "Storballe."

In addition to hiking, Jegindø offers an experience of the old fishing environment at the "Æ Fywerhus" museum, a day on the beach at Bøhl, and scenic walks along Røn Tap.

Tambohus offers activities at Tambohus Nature Harbor with the possibility of swimming and water sports.

Note that the walking area contains a long walking path!

The hiking area offers a long hiking trail of 14.6 km. In addition, there are two bonus trails of a total of 5.2 km, for those with good legs.
