Experience protected, magical nature on a beautiful boardwalk through willow thickets. Birds sing around you, and information boards at the Sortehusene share the area’s history – an idyllic start to your hike.

Along Stampestrømmen, the flat landscape opens up. The mirror-like Møllesøen invites calm, while lush meadows and old lime kilns tell stories of the area’s past in scenic surroundings.

At Karup Å near Mogenstrup, you meet varied landscapes with wide meadows, dense woodland, wetlands and rich birdlife. Nature shifts between open vistas and green oases along the river.

The ruins of Stubbegård Kloster and Sevel Kalkværk appear as historic gems in the landscape, where cultural traces from the past add depth and insight to your walking experience.

In the area, you can explore four trails totalling up to 14.8 km, plus four bonus trails adding another 8 km for those with very good fitness.
