Salling - the northwestern part

Experience the scenic Grynderup Lake, where you can hike through meadows and reed beds teeming with birdlife. Enjoy views of the lake and spot geese, herons, and ducks while passing peaceful coastal meadows and open landscapes.

Visit Vile Church and follow the trails along the forest edge down to the beautiful, secluded coastal meadows. Enjoy the magnificent views from the slopes and walk along the beach before returning through the summer cottage area at Vile Vestergård.

Start at the Sallingsund Bridge and follow the coast before the route winds through burial mounds and striking landscapes. From the top of Bjørnshøje, you’ll get a fantastic view of Sallingsund and Mors, offering a perfect break to appreciate nature.

Also, visit Glyngøre Cultural Station, which offers local history and beautiful views over the Limfjord. Explore the birdwatching tower at Grynderup Lake, where you can spot waterfowl and take a nature break. Inside, learn more about local birds through informative displays.

In the hiking area, you can explore three trails totaling up to 15.6 km, plus a bonus trail of 4.6 km for those in excellent condition.
