Svinkløv & Kollerup - Jammerbugt

The area in the middle of Jammerbugten offers a unique hiking experience that will take you on a unique journey through nature and culture.

You can walk along the coastal slope at Svinklovene and back through the flat coastal landscape. Along the way, you will be presented with breathtaking views, including the iconic Svinkløv Badehotel.

Your hiking adventure will take you through the protected Hingelbjerge, which offers varied terrain shaped by the Ice Age, including the highest point of Han Herred, Nordbjerg, which towers 83 meters above sea level. Here you can also find numerous burial mounds and a panoramic view of both the Jammerbugt and Limfjorden.

On another one of the hiking trails, you can catch a glimpse of two partially preserved dolmens from the Neolithic era, dating back to around 3500 BCE.

This area is known for being the filming location for the popular TV series "Badehotellet" and is a landscape that has fascinated many through the screen.

Here, you can also visit the most beautiful spot in the Kingdom of Denmark and the only preserved heath mill.

In the hiking area, there are four different paths to explore, which together extend over a distance of up to 17.2 kilometers. For the adventurous with good fitness, there is even a bonus trail of 4 kilometers.
