Uggerby & Tversted Klitplantager - Hjørring

Uggerby Klitplantage offers scenic hiking trails that wind through the dune landscape and through the dune plantation. Here you can experience rich wildlife, breathtaking views and historical traces of the area's previous use.

Tversted Klitplantage has pleasant paths that take you past the idyllic Tversted Lakes and through dense forest areas. On your hike you can enjoy the varied flora and fauna and visit the historic Østerklit farm.

Both Uggerby and Tversted Klitplantager offer routes that combine the beauty of nature with cultural attractions. Take a walk past Denmark's only working roof mill and enjoy the many viewpoints that reveal the landscape's geological development.

In the hiking area, you can explore three trails that together extend up to 15.2 km, as well as two bonus trails totaling 6.2 km for those in excellent shape.
