Vrejlev Kloster & Slotved Dyrehave- Hjørring

The hiking trails at Vrejlev Monastery lead through beautiful agricultural areas and historic landscapes. Here you can enjoy the idyllic view over the monastery's fields and forests, while experiencing the rich wildlife and the historical character of the landscape.

Slotved Dyrehave offers paths through natural forest with old beech trees and an impressive population of deer. The hiking trails wind through the forest, where you can experience a diversity of wildlife and the forest's varying biotopes.

Part of the hiking trails in Slotved Dyrehave lead to moist forest bogs with elm and ash. Here you can experience a rich flora, including rare plants such as deer fern and true lover's knot, and enjoy the great differences in terrain and the natural beauty of the forest.

In the hiking area, you can explore four trails that extend over a total of up to 15 km, as well as two bonus trails of a total of 4.5 km for those with really good fitness.
