Shelters at Salling & Fur 2
At Salling and Fur you are offered scenic accommodation in close connection with the beautiful landscapes of the Limfjord.
The shelters here are often located by the coast, in forests or in open fields, which gives you a unique opportunity to enjoy the silence and nature to the fullest.
Some shelters can be reserved in advance, while others are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In some cases, a small payment is required to use the shelter.

Harre Vig - Hjerk Stadion shelter
The shelter is well sheltered from the wind, hidden in the trees between Harre Vig Beach and Hjerk Stadium.
The shelter accommodates 4 people.
There is a table/bench set by the shelter. The site features a playground, a sports field, a covered area with a stone oven, tables, and benches, as well as a small fire hut with benches.
Toilets and water are available at the clubhouse, approximately 100 meters from the shelter.
The shelter cannot be booked - it operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Harre Vig - Rævehøjvej shelter
The shelter is close to the fjord, where there is a good opportunity to find oysters. There is a small piece of forest between the fjord and the shelter, so it is sheltered.
There is one shelter on the site with room for 4-6 people.
There is a fire pit with grate and table/bench set. Down towards the beach there is a toilet (composting toilet - remember to bring your own toilet paper). There is no water supply.

Nymølle Beach shelters
Nymølle Strand's shelter site with two shelters is located facing Sallingsund at the old, culturally historic Nymølle Brickworks.
One shelter is sheltered by a low thicket with a view out over the fjord and the other shelter is nicely protected in a beautiful old willow grove approx. 50 meters away.
The shelters each have space for 4-6 people.
There is a table/bench set and a fire pit at each shelter. There is also a water tap on the site.
The shelters cannot be booked - first come, first served.

Vadum Beach shelter
here is one shelter on the site, which is approx. 50 m from the beach.
The shelter has room for 4 people.
There is a campfire at the shelter. There is also a toilet and water tap close by (open in the summer).

Pometet Rødding shelter
The shelter is located in a fenced area up the West Salling trail and close to Spøttrup castle. Around the shelter, an area with trellises, as well as apple and pear trees, has been established.
There is a shelter with room for 4-6 people.
There is a toilet, cold water, a covered dining area and a fire pit on the site.
The shelter does not need to be booked.

Væksthus Spøttrup shelters
The shelter site is located at Væksthus Spøttrup, which is an old homestead opposite Spøttrup Borg.
Here are five shelters with space for 25 people.
Here you can cook in a large kitchen and enjoy your lunch in the picnic hut. There is water and a toilet block at the site.

Gyldendal Harbor shelters
The shelter site is located by a small lake with a fantastic view behind the harbor.
There are two shelters, each with space for 5-6 people.
There is a fire pit with a grate and a campfire site at each shelter, as well as picnic tables spread across the area. Access to showers and toilets is available at the harbor office for Gyldendal Harbor (the facilities at Gyldendal Boat Club are for members only and must not be used!).
No booking is possible – first come, first served.

The shelter site is situated in the bushes by a small lake with a fantastic view behind the harbor.
There is one shelter with space for 5-6 people.
There is a fire pit with a grate and a campfire site, as well as picnic tables. Access to showers and toilets is available at the harbor office for Gyldendal Harbor (the facilities at Gyldendal Boat Club are for members only and must not be used!).

Hostrup Beach shelter
The shelter is located next to an open area where there is planting facing the fjord.
The shelter site has one shelter with room for 3-4 people.
On the site there is a table/bench set and a fire pit. There are toilets, but they are closed in winter.
The shelter cannot be booked - the first-come, first-served principle applies here.

Hostrup Hovedgård shelters
The shelter site is behind Hostrup Hovedgaard.
On the site there are two shelters with room for 4 people each.
There is a picnic hut, composting toilet, nature playground and fire pit. There is no water supply.
You can park in the car park at Sønder Lemvej (not at Hostrup Hovedgård). From here, a path leads to the site.

Rønbjerg Plantation shelter
The shelter site in Rønbjerg Plantage is located in Nature Park Flyndersø - Sønder Lem Vig.
There is a shelter with room for 4 people.
In the plantation, there are several facilities close to the shelter. There is a composting toilet and a fire pit hut. There is no water on the site.

Nørkærbro shelters
The shelter site is located in a beautiful natural area by Skive/Karup Å with a beautiful heath behind the shelters.
The three shelters are very large with a floor area of approx. 6x3 meters and each has room for 4-5 people. However, there is only a small opening for the shelters in the middle of the front.
At the site there is a composting toilet, 2 fire pits with grates and several table-bench sets. There is no water supply on the site.
The site is located at the end of a long, very bumpy gravel road, which is not suitable for cars and is intended primarily for hikers, bikers, horseback riders and canoe sailers.
