Møborg Grusgrav shelter site

The campsite in Møborg Skov is located at the bottom of an old gravel pit in the middle of low-growing vegetation with open grasslands and forest around.

The shelter has space for 2–3 people.

The site has a table and bench set, a campfire and barbecue area with a grill, a woodshed (saw/split your own wood), a compost toilet and the possibility of collecting water at the parking lot's toilets.

The space cannot be booked - first come, first served.

Møborg Sports Ground shelter site

The campsite in Møborg Skov is located on a former sports field surrounded by open areas and forest, with flat terrain suitable for both play and relaxation.

There are two shelters, each with space for 6 people, and a large communal campfire house.

On the site you will find a barbecue, ten table and bench sets, play equipment for children, electricity and water connections, and a shower.

The site can be used without prior booking - first come, first served.

Frederiksberg Garden shelter

Frederiksberg Have shelters is located in a lush oasis with flower beds, tall trees and open lawns on the banks of the Flynder Å, surrounded by play areas and a quiet park area.

The shelter has space for 15–20 people.

There is a table and bench set, a campfire hut with a fire pit and grill, toilets and a play area.

Damhus Å Harbour shelters

The shelters are located in a clearing in the forest, 30 meters before Damhus Å Harbour – a cozy little dinghy harbor by Nissum Fjord, often used by local fishermen.

The shelter site includes two shelters, each accommodating 4–5 people.

Facilities include a bonfire hut, picnic area, and an information board about the area. Water and a composting toilet are available by the bonfire hut, approximately 30 meters from the shelters.

The shelters are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be booked in advance.

Skalstrup Forest shelter

The shelter is located in the middle of a small open space in the forest.

The shelter site has a shelter with space for 4-6 people.

The site has a fire pit with grill, table/bench set, compost toilet and water tap (closed July 25).

The shelter can be used without prior booking - first come, first served.

NOTE: The site does not appear to be maintained and may be closed.

Harpøt Harbour shelters

Harpøt Havn shelters are located at Harpøt Havn in scenic surroundings close to Nissum Fjord.

The shelters each have space for 4-6 people.

There are tables/benches and a campfire site at the shelters. There is a compost toilet, but no water on site.

The shelters cannot be booked - first come, first served.

Loch Nees Put and Take shelter

Loch Nees Put and Take shelter is located in quiet surroundings near the fishing lake Loch Nees.

The two shelters can accommodate up to 8 people together.

The site has a table/bench set and a campfire area with a grill. There is access to toilets and water.

The shelters must be booked . There is a fee per person to use the shelters.

The Goose's Nest Eggs

The shelter site Gåsereden is located in the old marl pits at Bøvling, surrounded by small water holes, a steep slope and open fields where large flocks of geese often gather.

The two eggs on the square each accommodate 2 people.

The site offers a table and bench set, a campfire house with a grill, a firewood shed (saw/split yourself), a compost toilet, drinking water at Bøvling Hallen and the possibility of charging via solar panels.

The shelters must be booked online or by contacting Bøvling Citizens' Association.

The Goose's Nest shelters

The shelter site Gåsereden is located in the old marl pits at Bøvling, surrounded by small water holes, a steep slope and open fields where large flocks of geese often gather.

The shelters accommodate 6–7 adults in the three larger regular shelters.

The site offers a table and bench set, a campfire house with a grill, a firewood shed (saw/split yourself), a compost toilet, drinking water at Bøvling Hallen and the possibility of charging via solar panels.

The shelters must be booked online or by contacting Bøvling Borgerforening.

Bøvling Fri- og Idrætsefterskolerne shelters

The shelter site is well hidden from the wind in the trees at the end of the sports field at Bøvling Fri- og Idrætsefterskolerne.

At the site there is a shelter with space for 6 people and a blue cabin with space for approximately 12-15 people.

The site offers a packed lunch hut with table and bench set, a campfire house with grill and water tap.

Krogshede shelter - packed lunch house

The shelter 100m from the Krogshede Bird Tower is located in the open landscape near Nissum Fjord and provides a good view of the fjord and the surrounding birdlife.

The shelter house also functions as a packed lunch house and can accommodate up to 4 people.

There are tables and benches at the site, but there is no water, fire pit or toilet available.

The shelter is free to use and does not require booking.

Høvsøre ​​shelter site

Høvsøre ​​shelter site is located by the test turbines on the fjord side at Bøvling and offers open spaces and proximity to nature.

The site has three shelters with space for 4-5 people in each.

Facilities include tables and benches, a barbecue area and a toilet. Please note that there is no access to drinking water on site.

The shelters cannot be booked and are used on a first-come, first-served basis.

Høfde Q shelter site

The shelter site at Høfte Q is located behind the dunes with a unique sea view, surrounded by salt meadows and dune sand, where the west wind and the roar of the North Sea provide background music.

There are two shelters, each with space for 5-6 people.

There is a table and bench set, a grill and a campfire area with a grate, good disabled-friendly access, the possibility of getting water at the nearby toilets and a dry weather room by the parking area.

The space is free to use and cannot be booked.

Ramme shelter site

Shelterplads Togstation is located behind Rammehallen surrounded by the city's sports fields, playgrounds and green areas.

The two shelters each have space for approximately 6 people.

The site has a table and bench set, a campfire and barbecue area with a grill, electrical outlets for charging, a waste rack, and users can use water and toilets in the hall, the schoolyard or at Ramme Church.

The shelters must be booked .

Dybe Kirkeby shelters

The shelter site at Dybe Kirke is located on the old sports field surrounded by open lawns and close to the village's green surroundings.

The three shelters have space for approximately 6 people each.

The site offers a shared campfire house with a grill, table and bench set, trash rack and access to water and toilets in the nearby hall or at the church.

Bonnet Stadium shelter

The shelter area at Bonnet Stadium is located in an undisturbed corner of the stadium area near some trees.

There is a shelter on the site, which can accommodate approximately 6 people.

There is a table/bench set and a campfire at the clubhouse about 50m from the shelter. Work is underway to provide access to water and toilets.

The space cannot be booked, it is on a first-come, first-served basis. A small fee is charged per night.

Vandborg Fælled shelters

The shelter site is located at Vandborg Fælled in a small pocket between the trees. The site is Vandborg's old sports field.

There are two shelters on the site. Each shelter can accommodate approximately 4 people, so a total of approximately 8 overnight guests.

The site has a table/bench set, a fire pit with a grill and two hammocks. A toilet with an outdoor tap is located 30m away.

The space cannot be booked, it is on a first-come, first-served basis. A small fee is charged per night.

Ferring Lake shelter site

The shelters at Ferring Sø are located secluded by a quiet meadow surrounded by open areas and small lakes, where bird life is abundant and nature is untouched.

There are two small shelters with space for 2-3 people each.

The site offers a fire pit with a grill, a bench with a table and a trash can a little distance away. There are no drinking water or toilet facilities at the site itself.

The shelters can be used on a first-come, first-served basis for one or two nights.

Gjellerodde shelter site

The shelter site at the far end of Gjeller Odde is nestled among the dunes, surrounded by coastal meadows and quiet forest, with a view of the Limfjord.

There are three shelters, each accommodating approximately four people.

The site offers three table/bench sets, a shared grill and campfire area with a grate, a toilet near the parking lot, and waste bins, but firewood is not provided.

The shelter site operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Noret Sø shelter site - FDF Harboøre

The shelter site by Noret Lake is peacefully located by the lake's shore, surrounded by open meadows and scattered groups of trees, offering views over the water and the surrounding landscape.

There are two shelters, each accommodating approximately four to six people.

There are tables and benches, as well as a fire and barbecue area with a grill grate. There is no toilet or water tap.

The shelters are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thyborøn Canal shelter

Thyborøn Kanal shelter is located in an old cannon bunker at the entrance to Thyborøn Kanal, right by the North Sea with an unobstructed view of the sunset and the raw nature of the dune landscape.

There is room for four people.

The site has a table and bench set in the parking lot, a fire pit with a grill and trash racks; water and toilets are available in Naturrum Thyborøn.

The shelter is free to use on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be pre-booked.
