Blokhus

Blokhus Klitplantage - yellow route 1.7 km
The yellow hiking route, which lies by the dog forest in Kirkesande, winds through the varied terrain in Blokhus Klitplantage.
Fitness route
The fitness route takes you on a pleasant, small tour of Blokhus Klitplantage under rustling treetops.
Health track
The health track is a 2.3 kilometer long walking and running route that is precisely measured so that you can easily measure your own fitness. Follow the instructions on the boards under the half-roof at the edge of Gateway Square.
Blokhus Klitplantage - blue route 4.7 km
The eastern part of the tour follows the "Brændevinsstien" through a flat landscape behind the dunes, where there are mainly conifers of various ages. Along the way you pass the two forest lakes, Nørre Sø and Søndre Sø. At Nørre Sø you will find both tables and benches as well as a beautiful view, while Søndre Sø is overgrown and mostly gives the impression of a lake from earlier times.

Blokhus Sømærke
Blokhus Sømærke, which juts 15 meters into the sky, has a rich history with roots dating back to the 1880s. Originally, Hune Kirke was Blokhus' first beacon, but as the need for safety at sea grew, 23 seamarks were erected along the west coast of Jutland.
Built in 1882 and later rebuilt in 1898, Blokhus Sømærke was enhanced with iron legs to ensure stability. During the Second World War it was unfortunately destroyed by the Germans, but was rebuilt in 2006 in a new location. -
The Cultural Center & the Sculpture Park
The sculpture park stretches over 20,000 square meters and is an impressive outdoor gallery. Here, art, nature and entertainment meet in harmony through unique sand sculptures and sculptures from various artists.
During the Blokhus Sand Sculpture Festival, visitors experience an extraordinary visual feast where sand is transformed into fantastic works of art. The area's sensory gardens, flower beds and play areas add an extra dimension to the park's charm, and during Magic Christmas it is transformed into a fairy-tale universe of light and Christmas atmosphere, attracting visitors from near and far. -
Anne Just's Garden - The Garden in Hune
In Haven i Hune, a breathtaking view of 7,500 square meters of colorful small gardens is presented, carefully arranged to imitate the natural beauty. Here you can relax with a cup of coffee and home-baked treats, enjoying the atmosphere in any corner of the garden.
The shop offers a wide selection of goods, from postcards to ceramics and plants, which complement the experience of the garden. With posters with motifs from Anne Just's paintings, visitors are also offered a tasteful extension of the artistic atmosphere. -
Museum of Paper Art
Museum for Papirkunst is the Nordic region's only dedicated museum for paper art, handicrafts and design. Here you can experience Bit Vejle's iconic works and explore various special exhibitions by both national and international artists that demonstrate the diversity and creative potential of paper.
